Artifact – Archival Collections, Curatorial Services
The BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum (BCSHOF) provides curatorial services, research, and resources pertaining to the display, documentation, and preservation of the sport heritage of British Columbia. With over 27,000 artifacts and 25,000 archival documents in our collection, the BCSHOF houses one of the largest sport-related collection in Canada. Our Olympic Collection currently contains over 3,000 Olympic and Paralympic artifacts from a variety of winter and summer Olympic Games from 1912- 2014. Our Outreach Program provides community access to our collection for short-term rentals – a unique opportunity to celebrate the spirit of sport at community festivals and special events. We are a proud member of the British Columbia Museum Association, the Canadian Association of Sport Heritage and the International Association of Sport Heritage.
