When children are exposed to the inspiring stories of athletes who come from the same cultural or economic backgrounds as them, they begin to imagine what they can do and how they too can make a difference. Our curriculum-linked educational programs incorporate goal setting, personal planning, physical education and ways in which students can make meaningful contributions to their communities.
The Hero In You® Education Program and all of its features are offered FREE to ALL teachers across the world, and is supported by the generous contributions of individuals who believe in the importance of inspiring youth through history and the values of sport.

Each artifact is attractively presented in a protective display case.

FEATURE 4: Hero In You® Classroom Kits
Get “hands-on” with the BC Sports Hall of Fame! Teaching Kits are portable cases that include artifacts that can be handled by students (tennis rackets, sports jerseys etc.), books, DVDs, CDs, posters, and an educator’s resource guide with facts, photographs, and fun classroom activities.

FEATURE 4: Hero In You® In the Hall (Field Trips & Tours)
Run, jump and be inspired with a class field trip to the BC Sports Hall of Fame! Accompany a Sports Hall facilitator on a guided tour of our extensive collection and interactive displays. Afterward, students can take turns on our Climbing Wall, Running Track, Virtual Sports Simulator, and the many other games in our Participation Gallery.
