One outstanding female and one outstanding male amateur athlete graduating from a BC Secondary School who is involved in either their community or school sports will be awarded the Jack Farley Youth Sports Achievement Award.

Each winner will receive $1500* toward their education at a British Columbia post secondary institution, recognition at the Banquet of Champions, and two complimentary tickets.

* Should the winner elect to pursue post-secondary education outside the province, the financial component of the award will not be issued. However, if the winner enrolls at a BC post-secondary institution within 36 months of graduation from Grade 12, she or he will be eligible to receive the funds.

To The Nominee
To be eligible for this award, you must be:
  • a registered grade twelve student at a B.C. Secondary School
  • a resident of B.C. for the last twelve months
  • a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
  • Future plans to attend a designated post-secondary institution in B.C. on a full time basis
  • show evidence of high athletic ability and performance
  • minimum C+ average (send a copy of transcript)
  • demonstrate leadership skills
  • be active in your school and community
